Serial over IP reconnect bugfix?

What’s the prognosis for fixing this bug? I can use 7.06, but this older version is incompatible with Teltonika RMS. (This incompatibility is a worry - why is a firmware less than 6 months old unsupported. Really raises questions about the suitability of RMS for anything large scale.)

TRB142 - Serial Over IP no reconnection

Hello. I just received a TRB142 and I’m trying to use Serial Over IP in TCP Client mode. It works at its first connection, however if the receiving socket is closed, the gateway does not seem to try reconnecting. How the Reconnection time and the Inactivity timeout are supposed to work? I did not change their default values.

Firmware version TRB1_R_00.07.08_WEBUI.bin Serial Over IP works

Now the firmware reconnects, but there is something fundamentally different
about the connection. It repeats “\r+QCSQ: “LTE”,79,-113,133,-12” and
is unresponsive to all data send to the TCP connection (including ‘AT+QCSQ=0\r\n’).
This includes the Serial → Over IP page showing 0 received bytes.
Turning on and off the Serial → Over IP service fixes things.

On further investigation, it appears that my problem is triggered by the “Auto reboot” facility. After an auto reboot, the Serial over IP connection is not properly re-established.
