Wireguard between TRB500 (client) and Fitzbox 7530 (server)

No luck establishing a WG connection between a Fritzbox 7530 (server) and TRB500 (client).

Fritzbox (Firmware 8.02) has the net 192.168.2.0/24 and a fixed IP address

TRB500 (Firmware 7.16.3) is the Gateway for a 10.50.0.0/23 network.

I had of course a look in

and also Wireguard VPN between FritzBox an RUTX50

and have been able to get a “green light” in the Fritzbox:

but unfortunately no “last negotiation” timestamp, though Fritzbox logging does say:

Es wurde erfolgreich eine WireGuard-Verbindung zur Gegenstelle "Teltonika" (xxxxxx:7587) aufgebaut.

but in the end no routing, no ping no nothing. I seem unable to find any logging on Teltonika giving at least some hint what could go sideways. Reading through the firmware changelog suggests there were no changes regarding WG in newer FW versions.
