WIFI random drop to Zero Power

Hi,

I have to report an issue that is causing the WIFI signal to drop to zero power.

The problem seem to have appeared after release 7.23, but I cannot be sure.

Currently I have 3 devices, 2 X RUTX50 and 1 X RUT260. All running ver. 7.25.3.

The issue is random, WIFI power is ok for few days and than will drop to zero.

Tested some of the solutions suggested in the forum without any success.

Only option is to reboot the router.

I will be available to provide all the info that Support may need to understand the issue.

I’ll be waiting for Teltonika Support to get in touch with me.

NOTE:

This I think is the same issue reported in the topic RUTX50 Wifi running, signal 0%, no ssid to be found

It is important to note that an End User Device needs to be connected to a particular radio before any power reading will be registered.

If no WiFi devices are connected, then the reading will show 0%.

Hi Mike,

yes there would be clients connected, the SSID is no longer available, so the clients have gone.

It may be worth a note that this issue has been going on for some time now, on 3 different devices in 3 different locations with 3 different configurations.

In my case there is nothing special in the config used, one SIM, one SSID, very standard.

I will pay attention next time it happens, collect the log file before and after, hope this will help.

Hi,

I have submitted the form.

I can confirm that on one RUTX50 after the latest update to 7.25.2 this issue has got worst.

On this router I have 3 SSID and both 2.4 and 5 Ghz enabled.

So it would seems that the number of SSID configured do have a play with this problem.

The SSID disappearing happens every 3-4 days in this case.

On another router RUTX50 with just one SSID it happens circa every 2 weeks.
