WAN Failover with VPN not working (RUTX50)

Hi

I have a RUTX50 with Multi Wan failover enabled, switching between a Wifi interface (prio) and a mobile interface. This works as expected.

I also have NordVPN setup on the router via the easy setup “external services”. This also works as expected, traffic goes via VPN.

Problem

However, the combination failover & VPN does not work: when the VPN is active and a failover event takes place, I loose internet access. It looks like the VPN is still trying to access via the old, unavailable interface. I have activated the 4 flush connection on all interfaces.

If I then disable and re-enable VPN (or restart the router), it works again.

Issue has been resolved by upgrading to the latest firmware version.
