VLAN separation TSW212

Hi All,

I do have some questions about the TSW212 and VLAN support in combination with Inter VLAN routing.

In my setup i’ve configured 2 VLAN’s wich both have an interface active.

The first VLAN (ID 220) is in the 192.168.220.x range, having an static interface present at 192.168.220.1 (subnet 255.255.255.0).

The second VLAN (ID 10) is in the 192.168.30.x range, having an static interface present at 192.168.10.1 (subnet 255.255.255.0).

As soon as I activate the interface, and there are no static route entries, the separation between both interfaces is lost, and I’m able to reach an device (192.168.10.120) in VLAN 10 from the 220 VLAN, and therfore each device in the 220 VLAN.

I would like to enable the interface, because i would like to use the InterVLAN routing to route an specific subnet .

From what i read in TSW212 Inter VLAN communication InterVLAN routing isn’t supported on these devices, but following InterVLAN Routing On TSW212 - Teltonika Networks Wiki this should work?

Hello,

Could you perhaps share some screenshots of your configuration so far? The example should work as its been tested quite a few times already and no issues were found.

Not sure if I understood correct, but you did mention that you don’t have any static route entries, why is that? The example exclusively states that you need to add static routes to reach from VLAN to another: InterVLAN Routing On TSW212 - Teltonika Networks Wiki

Sorry for the late response because of the summer holidays.
After an reconfiguration it suddenly seems to work for now.
