Use IO juggler to make a phone call when input is set

I see that the io juggler can send an email, e.g. when an input is set. I would like that several phone numbers get a phone call instead. This is an alarm feature which should ensure that the simple beeping of an SMS is not easily ignored. Is this possible with some RUT device?

Hello,

There is no built-in rule to directly call specific phone numbers when a condition is met. However, it is possible to configure an action to execute a custom script when the condition is triggered. Within that script, you can include the necessary commands to initiate calls to specified phone numbers.

For more information on making calls from our devices, please refer to the following resources:

Best regards,

Thank you for this information! I didn’t think about that, but writing a script using AT commands sounds very promising. I will try that.

Maybe teltonika thinks about extending the IO juggler in the future to have this functionality directly.

Hello,

I have contacted our R&D team to check whether this feature could be implemented in future firmware releases.
I will let you know as soon as I receive any updates from them.

Best regards,

Hello,

I have received feedback from the R&D team — this feature is currently being implemented for a future firmware release.
While I don’t have an exact release date, it is most likely to be included in RutOS firmware version 7.15 or 7.16.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,
