Using 5G GW TBR500 as IP Passthrough.
Modem “Fritz Box 6890” work well since Firmware 07.03…upgrade to 07.08 …IP Passthrough does not provided the public ip but local ones.
If i go to the Fritz Box and force the “Reconnect” (Fritz Web Gui > Online Monitor > Reconnect) the public IP is assigned.
Rollabacked to 07.03…and back to work without any Reconnect forced
Any idea how to fix? What is chnaged in the new firmware ?

This is most probably because of the leased old IP stayed there!
We got really detailed troubleshooting guide for those modes on our wiki page. You can access via this link.
** Reboot RUT device. Wait about 5min., that router fully boots up in Bridge mode.*
** After RUT is booted in Bridge mode, re-enable PC network interface or reboot your PC.*

Thanks for the feedback. My case is related to “IP Passthrough” mode and not “Birdge” ones.
Anyway, currently my FritzBox router have the correct WAN address (Forced as explained)
Now i have rebooted the TBR500 and after some minutes FritzBox obtain the LAN instead of WAN address. Im logged in the FritzBox and clicked on "Online Monitor > Reconnect) and again the WAN IP is obtained. Because my IP denat is renewed each 24h this is an issue.
Again this issue is only with firmware 07.08 and higher. No issue with 07.03 and lower.
What do u think? What is changed?
You’re facing with issue because your end device has old leased IP. You need to renew it.
I know that you are trying to configure IP Passthrough mode however the troubleshooting steps are same for both Bridge & Passthrough mode!
Please upgrade the firmware and follow the instructions on the link let me know about the result. So I can help you further!

Firmware upgraded again but same issue.
Troubleshooting solve temporanealy, im able to obtain wan ip, but if i reboot the TBR500 for any reason, again obtain LAN ones until i repeat the troubleshooting procedure or force the fritz.box to obtain a new ip.(refresh connection or fritz restart

Again this not happend with 07.03 and older firmware.
In addition with the new firmware voip services (provided by my FritzBox) are unable to work.
The registration to voip server fail due to “remote site not responding”.
Rollbacked again to 07.03. and everythink work fine again.
As I also wrote in a similar posting, you can work around this by setting a short lease time in the settings of “passthrough” mode AND in the settings of the DHCP service.
Downgrading seems to solve the issue because it requires a reboot, but just doing a plain reboot or unplugging the cable solves it as well.

I have also issue on voip with the latest firmware…from my opinion there are differents bug…
The downgrade solve the issue 100% and also rebooting the TBR500 the WAN P is assgigned correctly at first time without force nothink or set lease time.
and everythink work fine again.
