I have a TRB500 that is consistently flipping between two different Cell Towers with very different download and upload speeds.
I read on the Wiki site that locking to the right mobile cell is a way to stop this from happening. But the TRB500 modem which does not support this method with 5G devices (supports EG, EC - Quectel or SLM - Meig and not RG - 5G) - link below:

The cell locking is not officially supported on any of the modems, but if you understand the possible stability risks, I’d suggest checking out these community forum posts:
