TRB245 with 7.14.4 (still) not connecting to RMS

As per previous problem, TRB245 with TRB2_R_00.07.14.4_WEBUI will not connect to RMS. This was elaborated on in my previous post and is still not fixed 2 firmware updates later and nearly 12 months later. TRB245 with 7.14.2 not connecting to RMS - Networking Solutions - Teltonika Community

This an early (batch 3) version of the TRB245 so guessing that this hardware has an issue with firmware after 7.07.3 as 7.07.3 works with no problem.

Please fix this on next firmware or STOP suggesting in web UI to upgrade to firmware that doesn’t work.

I do not want to waste my time debugging your faulty firmware and suggest someone at Teltonika please try this for themselves.

We have wasted many hours trying to make YOUR faulty firmware work that we cannot charge our customer for and are now out of pocket due to your poor software release processes.

Just to confirm, do I understand correctly that you would prefer not to continue troubleshooting these issues with the newer firmware?

We would like to see a compatibility matrix of firmware and hardware published so that we don’t end up wasting time trying to get incompatible firmware working.

We checked another TRB245 (Batch 03) we had here and it connects to RMS OK with firmware 07.14.4. The only difference I can see between then units that work with RMS and 07.14.4 is the kernel version. Units that don’t work with RMS have kernel 5.4.269 whereas units that work with RMS have kernel 5.4.290.

Is it possible to update the kernel on the TRB245 units?
