Multiple TRB245 with firmware TRB2_R_00.07.14.2 refuses to connect to RMS, please advise?
Good afternoon,
I am sorry to hear your device shows offline in the RMS system.
Check this guide, which covers majority of basic RMS connection issues : Why is my device offline / not activated on RMS? - Teltonika Networks Wiki
Please also check if you can see any message near the “Status” icon in Devices tab in RMS, next to the device in question.
If the device has an exclamation mark with an error message, and it states that service is disabled, please enable the service under Administration → Companies → View company details and if credits are available, please toggle the service on.
Please also advise if you have any remaining credits in RMS → Companies → View company details.
Regards,
Arturas
Hello Arturas,
There are no errors or exclamation marks in Device Status. Status in RMS in RMS is grey and clicking produces “Not Activated”
Connection log for this unit has repeated events of “The device is redirected to the authentication system.” with Status codes of 20 and 0.
The firmware requires an authentication code but RMS never provides the authentication code.
Hi there,
When you add the device, the authentication code should come up on the screen when it is being added, or alternatively you can find that code in RMS → Device details.
Regards,
Arturas
7.14.2 firmware is faulty. I confirmed by this downgrading to 7.07.3 and RMS connected no problem. Went back to 7.14.2 and unable to connect to RMS again.
Does Teltonika test firmware before releasing? This is second faulty firmware I have located which has cost me a lot of time and frustration.
Hi there,
If you can connect to the device via SSH, or to the device’s itself CLI, please write this command, to allow RMS to connect to this specific port :
openssl s_client -connect 3.69.112.66:15090 </dev/null
