I assume that the alarms is set on status change i.e. offline/online. The issue may be related to short connectivity loses. How often does this happen and how to you check if the device is actually online?
If you navigate to devices in RMS and click on a device, are there any ‘latest connection attemps’ logs?
Also, what firmware version is installed on your device? If not the latest, I would suggest updating the latest as there were some RMS fixes.
Thanks for your fast response.
I was on firmware 7.03, just upgraded to 7.04.5, let’s see if that helps.
The messages came 2, 3 times a month. I then go to RMS (web or iOS app) to logon and see the device green and no reboots.
I don’t see the option in RMS that you mention “latest connection attempts”.
Sure. Let me know if it is more stable with the firmware update.
Also, could you please access your router’s webui, navigate to Status → Logs → Event logs and check if there are any disconnects that may have caused the device to appear as offline in RMS?
Since this happens rarely, I would suggest waiting for the update. This update will include a new option in Alerts and Automations, as described in the provided link.
