We regularly get false offline alert emails using the legacy Device Alerts function and previous investigation (see old community forum) found this issue will be resolved by changing to use the Alerts & Automations function instead of Device Alerts.
Can you advise when RMS status (i.e. online/offline) will be added to the Alerts & Automations function?

One of the options in the new Alerts & Automations feature allows for mobile connection state alerts. It can be configured to send email notifications when the connection state is disconnected or connected.
The Alerts & Automations functionality in RMS is still in beta. There will be improvements and additions to it in the future. However, there are no dates available as to when and what new features and options will be added to it.

Thanks AndzejJ, unfortunately that won’t generate an alert when there is a single 4G link for the remote communications. If the mobile connection is lost then the modems’ communication to RMS stop. We are currently using the legacy device Alerts but that is regularly generating false offline alerts. You guys had recommended we use the new Alerts & Automations functionality but it is missing the required capability.

Indeed, in your case, it may not be a good option because of the single 4G connection. For now, I would suggest stying with the legacy alarm for this purpose. The team is aware that the connected/disconnected alarm is important and the new Alerts & Automation feature lacks this option. It is on the list and should be implemented in the future. However, there are no dates as to when this will be available.
