The power cable which Teltonika Routers use

The cable which all Teltonika Routers appear to use is the 4-pin Molex MicroFit 3.0, per https://www.reddit.com/u/rokejulianlockhart/comments/167lfed/comment/k2pfjit/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3. I don’t believe that this is explained anywhere obvious, and can be immensely important when looking for a configuration which Teltonika doesn’t sell, like a version with an IEC 60320 connector at its AC end rather than a country-specific plug.

Regardless, I do recommend

  1. https://teltonika-networks.com/products/accessories/powering-options/uk-power-supply-62w
  2. https://teltonika-networks.com/products/accessories/powering-options/4-pin-to-4-pin-power-cable-1

with an honourable mention to

  1. https://teltonika-networks.com/products/accessories/powering-options/4-pin-power-adapter-with-io-access-1
  2. https://teltonika-networks.com/products/accessories/powering-options/4-pin-to-barrel-socket-adapter-1

because no other company provides such standardized and comprehensive options for 4-pin Molex MicroFit 3.0-compliant power cables. All options can be seen at https://teltonika-networks.com/products/accessories/powering-options/?page=1.

I’m unable to add this as an answer to What power connectors do Teltonika routers use? so if you’re a moderator, please merge this and reopen the thread.

I’d like to use https://www.amazon.com/Teltonika-PR3PWUK3-Supply-TSW100-Switch/dp/B0B64H3B4R for my RUTXR1, but I’m not familiar with whether having it rated for higher than the RUTXR1 (my sole use case for it) can handle (relevantly, see https://www.reddit.com/r/UsbCHardware/comments/138rf9s/comment/jizbwbo/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) would damage it. I’m used to power negotiation like USB-PD provides. Consequently, would it?

I ask because I can’t feasibly use the G-plug version recommended for the device, whereas the IEC 60320 C8 connector is perfect.
