Have currently from Gigaset Comfort 520A IP Base, but get no function after setting the connection.

It is not possible to connect an analogue (“regular”) phone.

It doesn’t work with my Comfort IP520A from Gigaset.

ok, after google’ing Comfort 520A I found out that this is an
VoIP capable DECT base.
That means you have to:
- register your handset to the DECT base
- connect the DECT base to your router via a LAN cable
- usually that requires no settings on the router
- but you have to enter your VoIP account data into the DECT base somehow
- either 1. via the DECT handset (which may be possible)
- or 2. via the web interface of the DECT base
In case of 2. you have to find out which IP address has been assigned to the DECT base
by looking at the DHCP leases on your router, and then configure it.
If, however, you want to make outgoing calls via the mobile phone number assigned to your
SIM card this in NOT going to work with your setup (see also the link provided by @TeWe).
In this case you need something like e.g. a Siemens TC35.
