Signal LEDs on RUT241

Hi! I have some brand new RUT241, when I insert the SIM card, all works fine, but randomly, the signal LED goes black, but the 4G signal blinks and lost 4G connection, I have read the log and appears this:

In another router (TP-Link MR100), works fine without issue.
The firmware version is: RUT2M_R_00.07.06.3
The modem firmware is: SLM750-V_4.57.20_EQ101
I did a factory defaults, but still having this error.

Can you upgrade your firmware to 07.07 and see how it goes?

Hello,

This issue could persist due to poor mobile signal or a firmware version problem. Therefore, I recommend the following steps:

  • Update your RUT241 firmware version to RUT2M_R_00.07.07.
  • Ensure both mobile antennas are inserted properly.
  • Try restarting the modem by logging into your router via CLI and executing the command /etc/init.d/gsmd restart.

Hi! I updated to last available firmware and for now it works fine. I let the router until tomorrow for assuring stability, but it seems to work well.If tomorrow keeps working, I will mark as solved.

Updating to RUT2M_R_00.07.07 seems to solve the issue for me.

Hi! Now I have a problem, every hour the connection drops.According to this https://community.teltonika.lt/t/rut241-mobile-connection-lost-every-hour/5184/8 I will downgrade to RUT2_R_00.07.04.5 and see if working.I will reply tomorrow
