RUTX50 internal SSID not available when client Wifi SSID is not available

Hi,
My setup is that I have 1 sim, RUT_5g wifi enabled (in AP mode) and my home BT broadband SSID configured (client mode). However. when the home broadband is not available (im away in the van) the internal RUT_5g wifi does not even show. The 5ghz light is lit but nothing is discoverable. As soon as I am home and the home wifi is visable the RUT_5g shows again on my phone/laptop and can be connected to.

Failover is configured and seemed to work when I was home. Disabled wifi1 (home wifi interface) and rtux50 dropped back to mobile, all while I was connected to RUX_5g.

Any ideas What I am doing wrong?
My idea is that when home the rutx50 uses my home broadband and then when away it just uses 4/5g all while allowing me to connect to RUT_5G on my laptop/phone…

Should I not be using “client” for my home wifi connection but rather the new “Multi AP”?

perhaps I am seeing the same issues as here seems perhaps a RUTX_R_00.07.09 bug.

Hello,

Our developers are actively working on resolving this issue. The fix will most likely be implemented in firmware version 7.10.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
