Have now upgraded a RUT956 to FW 00.07.09, result is the same NTRIP instances which previously worked will no longer Enable, same alert message as the RUTx50
Reloaded FW 00.07.09 without keeping settings and rebuilt the RUT956 configuration from scratch, same result NTRIP instances will not Enable.
This tends to point to something with firmware 00.07.09?
If I understood correctly, you have filled out the Server address, Server port, Mount point, and NMEA string, right? I just tested it, and I encountered the same error as you when these sections were not filled out. However, once I completed all the required fields, I was able to enable the configuration successfully.
Please double-check that all parameters are filled out correctly, and let me know if you still experience this issue.
Parameters are definitely all fine. With the RUT956 update and considering what the RUTX50 had done with FW 09 I specifically tested NTRIP before update, all good, disabled NTRIP, updated to FW 09, went to Enable NTRIP and got the same cannot be Enabled error etc.
In checking the parameters again of the RUT956 (FW 09) Services>NTRIP>NTRIP Configuration>Edit NTRIP Instance configuration I Enabled the Instance and [Save&Apply] within the NTRIP instance configuration and got a Green tick, NTRIP tested ok. Disabled the instance from within the Edit function and again Green tick.
From the Services>NTRIP NTRIP Configuration page, Toggle Enabled On (Blue toggle) [Save & Apply] Error is as flagged above and even though Enabled remains Blue NTRIP is not enabled (as per CLI check), and when going back to Services>NTRIP Enabled is Off.
So updated the RUTx50 to FW 09 and functionality is identical to the RUT956
Cannot Enable (or Disable) an NTRIP instance from Services>NTRIP via [Save & Apply] on this page without the Red warning
NTRIP can be Enabled/Disabled via the Instance Edit and [Save & Apply] on the NTRIP instance configuration page.
Previously one could Enable/Disable NTRIP on either the NTRIP Configuration OR NTRIP instance configuration pages.
Thank you for clarifying the issue. I have informed our RnD team, and I will update you as soon as I receive their feedback. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
