RUTX50 07.06.x Firmware - GPS AVL Fail to Traccar

I have updated my RUTX50 to firmware RUTX_R_00.07.06.5 and my GPS AVL connection stopped sending updates to my Traccar server.

I troubleshooted for hours, tried 07.06, 07.06.1 and 07.06.3 until at last I downgraded to RUTX_R_00.07.05.4 and after doing initial setup again (downgrade wipes config), I setup my GPS AVL settings and Traccar server immediately started seeing incoming legitimate traffic - before NOTHING was incoming.

I’ve raised a support case but hoping someone else has worked out what the problem could be - although I’m pretty confident it’s a firmware issue.

I’ve now tried 07.06.6 and the issue remains. Reverting to 07.05.4 immediately allows it to work.

Still no resolution to this and I have heard nothing from support. I’m really concerned I made the wrong choice in hardware here - seems great tech but no one listening to users and resolving issues.

In the other thread(RUTX50 - 07.06.x Firmware - GPS AVL Fail to Traccar), the issue ended up being IP version used, as with version 07.06, IPv6 is enabled by default on mobile interface. Could you check if this may be the same issue on your end as well?
If not, let me know so we can investigate the issue on your device as well.

Yes it seems if IPv6 is enabled on the RUTX50 it does not try and connect over IPv4.

If this is expected behaviour, fine, but I’d prefer there was an option in the RUTX50 settings for IPv4, IPv6, or both for AVL setup.
