After reviewing your troubleshoot file, it appears that you are not experiencing any issues related to mobile connections. The problem may be caused by the failover feature. Please try disabling the failover, and then run a single mobile interface to check if the issues persist.

Hello, thank you for the response. In the webUI, Network > Failover/Load balancing interfaces, I have toggled all interfaces OFF. Is that all required to disable Failover? If so, I am still unable to connect to the internet through the RUT access point. I may be missing something basic, but don’t have enough expertise to figure out what that might be.
Is there a way to get remote assistance to get this router configured properly?

Could you please provide a screenshot of the Status → Network → Mobile page? This would help us understand the issue better. Additionally, please ensure the correct APN is set. Sometimes, the Auto APN feature does not select the correct APN for your carrier.
To set the APN manually, go to Network → WAN and press “Edit” next to the mobile interface. Then, disable the “Auto APN” setting and manually enter the required APN.

The APN settings were provided by our cell carrier KPN when we purchased the data SIM card. Some of the settings do not seem to have data entry fields in the Teltonika webUI. I have attached the KPN recommendations here:

It looks like the mobile signal values on the Mobile Data page are very poor. This might be the root of the issue, especially since it’s surprising that the connection state is listed as “Connected” with such low signal values.
To get a better signal, have you tried changing the location of the device? Also, please ensure that the antennas are attached correctly and standing at 90-degree angle.

The router is installed into an expedition vehicle by BiMobil in Germany. Their network engineers installed it, using an external antenna so I am unable to move the antenna or router. As a troubleshooting measure I swapped the SIM card with a known working SIM from my phone and the poor connection numbers didn’t change much. Do you have a distributor in the Netherlands (where we live ) that we could take our vehicle for diagnostic tests and could possibly fix the issue?

Yes, there are many distributors, but I doubt they offer diagnostic services. It’s possible that during installation, the wrong antenna was connected to the wrong mobile antenna port. Make sure the antenna is screwed into the port marked “Main Antenna.”

Hello, our vehicle is back from the shop. I am following up on the suggestion to check the antenna is connected to “Main” on the router.
I have done the following, but the results are the same as before - the router does not connect to the internet.
I attached one of the two mobile antennas included in the original router kit to the main antenna access point on the router. I then placed the antenna outside of the vehicle where the cell signal is strong.
I then attached the second of the two antennas from the kit to the AUX point on the router (so now both MAIN and AUX are attached with the original kit antennas.
Neither of these steps resulted in a good signal to the internet. I’ve attached a screenshot of the webUI Network > Mobile status screen:
Does this mean the router itself may need to be upgraded or replaced, and if so what device would you recommend?
On the PING, I may not be doing this right. In the webUI, I went to System> Maintenance > CLI and entered admin and the admin password (to login to the webUI) and got the response as shown in the screenshot.
CLI login is “root” and your password from GUI login.
User “admin” only works on the GUI.
CLI is always “root”.
