RUT241 firmware issue with IPSec

Hi there,

This is a follow-up post from this old one

So far, I have encountered the same problem accessing the webserver of the router via IPSec tunnels from all firmware version from 7.12 to 7.14. I keep having to downgrade the firmware version to 7.11.

Since the original topic did not have a definite solution, is there something in the tunnel configuration I need to do differently on newer firmware versions?

Hi Erica407Den,

Thank you for the suggestion. That gave me some ideas. The problem was with port scan prevention. Turning this feature off and I can access the web UI remotely again.
Perhaps the problem was with me binding the web UI to port 8888 and port scan prevention has been more aggressive than before.
