RTUX12 after Firmware Upgrade Access to WEBUI over WAN connection timeouts

Hello i have a RTUX12 at a remote site. Its WAN connectivity is via 4G Mobile.

I ran a firmware upgrade on the device to the latest available. After the upgrade i was not able to connect to the WebUI over the WAN as i previously could.

From the wan it takes a very long time with frequent connection “timeouts” . If the webui loads it does not load properly i can see the username / password fields and some basic graphics. I was able to login once , however again i did not get the full UI experience and it was not responisive

I have some applications behind the modem and im able to reach them ok , so i dont believe there is a bandwidth issue.

Local access to the WebUI is fine on its LAN ip no issues.

Are there any workarounds to restore WebUI access from the WAN ?
.

Hello,

Do you mean by WAN public IP?

Do you have any screenshots how UI looks when you log in? Or maybe you could take some screenshots and attach them here?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Sorry i have not had a chance to reply to this .

  1. I can access the SSH interface with no issue using the WAN interface

  2. Here are the screenshots when i try and access the Web Inteface using the WAN Interface

Hello,

Apologies for the late reply.

With the release of RutOS version 7.12, the HTTP protocol is disabled by default, and HTTPS Redirect is enabled to enhance the security of WebUI and API communications.
