Thanks for the heads-up :+1:

We have also created a few Wiki examples on how to bypass the “insecure connection” warnings:

Hi, please can I clarify something about Certification Generation for HTTPS connections and other things. Your example shows

My questions are about what goes into the ‘IP addresses’ field.

a) is it the router IP on the LAN e.g. 192.168.0.1 ?

b) is it the IP of the Windows PC that I use to access the WebUI on the router e.g. 192.168.0 45 ?

c) if b) is the answer, and I use several PC’s to access the router’s WebUI, do I enter all their IP’s?

d) does the field accept an entry for a whole subnet e.g. 192.168.0.0 or 192.168.0.0/24 ?

Apologies for what must seem a pretty basic question but my exposure to certificates has been minimal.

Thanks you.

Hello,

I have revised the article and added a clarification:

This field allows multiple entries as there might be more interfaces configured on the router from which the WebUI can be accessed. This field only accepts host addresses (not subnet).
