Problem after firmware upgrade

RUTX14: after a firmware upgrade to RUTX_R_00.07.14 stopped to activate the WAN connection with mobile SIM and report the following errors:
QMI call error, reason type INTERNAL: "PDN IPV6 call sisallowed “call Failed”
QMI call error, reason type internal interface in use config match
Call failed.
We tried firmware downgrade with and without keeping setting and also a new firmware upgrade to RUTX_R_00.07.14.2 without success.
SIM card tested on others router works perfectly.
Noww we have no wan active, the led on 3g and 4g blinking alternativelly and the mobile field lights on 2 out of three leds.
Do you have a solution for this?

Can you see that it reports an error on status of the mob1s1a1?
It seems it cannot activate the mobile data connection on WAN.
Same sim tested on another RUTX14 and it worked…..

Try changing PDP type to IPv4 only for mobile interface mob1s1a1.

Hello,

Please click Edit next to the mob1s1a1 interface, locate the PDP type setting, select IPv4, and then click Save & Apply.

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

i did the recommended change in PDP type to IPv4 and manual settings operator


the status of the router was the following

as first attempt I connected even the eth was and wan status was the following and everthing worked fine I was able to navigate.

The mobile connection was established but obliviously data connection state wasnot connected.

and here was the topology

then i disconnected the eth wan and I expected that the wan swapped on mobile connetion but as before an error appeared, it was “QMI call error, reason type INTERNAL: interface in use config match call failed”

And in fact the wan did not switched to mobile even the wan was ok

and the and the topology was the following (wan not active)

To be sure I did same test changing the sim used from sim1 to sim2 but errors remain the same.
it seems as the modem is not able to activate the data connection when needed even if the mobile connection is ok.
