Issues with RUTX11 after firmware and modem update

I use a RUTX11 on my boat to provide WiFi using SIMS.
Following updating to the latest firmware and modem versions the green LEDs that indicate which SIM is active no longer work. The Sims are working and I am receiving data, but the lights don’t work.
I’ve tried rebooting several times, but this hasn’t helped.
How do I resolve this?

I’m not an IT professional, so please give detailed instructions if needed.

Good afternoon,

Hi there,

After querying this information from our RnD team, I can confirm that this was an issue found in the newest firmware, which we are looking to rectify in the 7.17 Firmware update.

Arturas

Does this have any relation to RUTX Modem Firmware crashed device requiring power cycle ?

Hi there,

Unlikely, as your issue does not seem to have any relation to led lights.

This particular issue is related to a service called “ledman” of which the issue is already being rectified as mentioned above.

OK, thanks. I confirm that on my RUTX11 devices updated to 7.16.1 the 4 lights on the left SIM1 SIM2 WiFi ETH remain dark and no longer function. I have not tested 7.16.2 yet but I did not see any mention of LEDs in the release notes.

Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback.
The issue with LED is currently being resolved and will be rectified in soon future updates.

In regards to your other issue, I would recommend continuing the communication on the initial thread, as my colleague Marija will be able to assist further.

Arturas

Hi there,

@Mark_N Our RnD team has informed me that the LED issue should be fixed in RUTOS 7.16.3 firmware release.

Thank you for your patience.

Arturas
