Issue with Mobile Network Connection - RUTX50 - 5G N78 band

I created a short video showing the LEDs while the speed test is running and the router loses connection to the provider.

Hello,

From your attached video, it seems like the internal LTE/5G modem restarts during the test you’re running. I can’t access the logread logs, but I presume it contains messages about a disconnected USB device.
If that’s the case, please ensure that:

  • You’re running the latest modem firmware - please navigate to System → Firmware, and check if the internal modem is on the latest available firmware. Please also attach the version you currently have installed to your next comment.
  • Try disabling the IMS service - leave VoLTE set to OFF, and then via the CLI, run the following command:
gsmctl -A 'AT+QCFG="ims",2'

Then re-run your test

  • Make sure all 4 antennas are tight and on the correct ports.

Best regards,

Firmware: RG501QEUAAR12A11M4G_04.200.04.200

It was unsuccessful. I conducted two tests after disabling IMS. After the first test, it took about 2 minutes for the system to fully reboot. During the second test, the system was back online after about 1 minute.

Here the log-read

Thank you for the logs - and regarding the internal modem firmware - could you clarify what version is currently installed?

Best regards,

Since you already have almost the latest modem firmware version, I believe we should try to replicate the logs during a remote session for our RnD team.
If a remote session could be organized, then please fill out the form I’ve sent to your email address and we will arrange remote session details privately.
Thanks!

Best regards,

Do you have a ticket ID?

Sorry, it’s 10755.
