"Failover Priority" widget does not show the correct priority list (RUT9_R_00.07.06.16)

Hi,

I recently got a RUT955 router, and I have configured 2 wired WANs + 2 cellular as failover. In the settings I am providing the prioritized list for failover:

And the failover works as expected, with this prioritized list.
However, on the Status Overview widget “FAILOVER PRIORITY” i get those interfaces in a random(?) order:

They are not in order of priority (as the title suggests). Nor alphabetical order… Is it random?

My expectation would be to have them in order of priority, as the title suggests…

thanks

Hi…

Did you try to change the order priority… under mode?

Moving…
This simbol?

Yes, no matter how I move and re-prioritize the list in the “Network” - “Failover”, the widget on the “Status” - “Overview” shows the interfaces in a the same order…

The functionality is correct (ie the routing behaves based on how i prioritized the interfaces). It is the widget that is broken, now showing the correct order.

Sorry to say…

But… after your configuration… Do you try to do a reboot?
I use a old RUT240… and sometimes… only work after a reboot. ha ha ha

This sounds very similar to an issue I raised …

As in your case, despte the UI saying one thing, the actuat functionality was unaffected as the device used the metric configured in the config files.

Teltonika Dev stated that, in my case, it was a known issue that would be addressed in a further release.

If your metric is set correctly and you have expected functionality, then I guess Teltonika Support will have to comment.

@Mike yes, my metrics are set correctly, as my 1st screenshot shows.

@Marcelo.Barros yes, I rebooted :slight_smile:

Hello,

Could you please let me know if you are still experiencing this issue?

Best regards,
