Configuring WireGuard as peer to a centralized network

Hello,

For quite some time we were using RUT950 as a “WireGuard Peer” and connect to our hosted server. This solution helped linking many installations across the world on our WG network.

We switch recently to a RUT241 and after updating the Firmware, I configured again a WireGuard service and a Peer.

The issue is that this configuration forciebly adds a blackhole route in the routing table:

I can manually remove this blackhole, but at every reboot of the device it is added again. Is there some option to avoid this blackhole when configuring a Wireguard tunnel ?

I’m looking for a solution otherwise we’ll have to change our method of working of find a new way to establish tunnels.

Best regards

Hello,

Could you please first update the device’s RutOS firmware to the latest version, 7.14.2? The correct update guidelines are provided in the topic here: Important Note About Firmware Update

Regarding the WireGuard configuration issue, to better understand it, could you please provide a screenshot of your peer’s configuration page?

Kind regards,
