Access LAN device via Remote access HTTP with credentials

Hi everyone,

I have a RUT200 on the field, with a LAN device ( Shelly Pro 3EM ) connected to it.
I want to access the UI of the Shelly. I am able to reach RUT200 via RMS and have already created a ‘remote access’ via RMS connect following the instructions from here

However, when the LAN device UI opens, it is ‘stuck’ at starting loading page (“Connecting to Shelly…”). I suspect that the reason is that I need to pass login credentials ( user & password ) to the device, but I cannot find a way to do that with RMS Remote Access.

The most similar topic that I found is the following, but it doesn’t provide any different solution.

Is there a way to pass credentials/user&password to remote HTTP connection ?
Alternatively, can I initiate an access to LAN device UI via Teltonika ssh terminal, in order to enable verbose and find the conflicting error for remote HTTP connection ?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you first confirm/check:

  • whether the Shelly device has its default gateway set to the RUT200’s LAN IP address?

  • Provide a screenshot of the error or loading screen you see when trying to open the device’s UI through RMS Remote Access.

  • Verify whether port 80 is open on the Shelly device and if it’s reachable directly from the RUT200.

Alternatively, if your RUT200 has a public IP address assigned, you could also set up a port forward to the Shelly device’s port 80, as described in the wiki article here:

Best regards,
