Worried about firmware upgrade to 7.24.3

Hi,

having never seen the “red exclamation icon” in the RMS dashboard before, this was obviously quite concerning.
Most of my estate are RUT956’s - so I thought that I would check out the firmware page before just going ahead and installing.
Which is where I have now seen the topics about the RUTC and RUTX seemingly having issues.

I had a problem with a RUT956 that was on RUT9M_R_00.07.23.7 which had been working fine for a few days and then behaved very strangely. The factory reset via the button was not working, so I had to “reset” via the bootloader, I used RUT9M_R_00.07.24_WEBUI.bin
Since doing that, it appears to have been fine.

With these community reports, and the seemingly urgent warnings from RMS to update, and very little info on the changelog, I am nervous about it. Especially as the 7.24.4 has not been posted for these devices.

Can you give more information about the urgency being displayed in RMS, and some kind of assurance that we don’t need the 7.24.4 that you have rushed out for other devices?

I need the official line from your company, as I presume with the Firmware red triangle i’m putting my entire network at high risk.
