Hi I am struggling with this.
I have a GLi-net flint 3 router (home connected to virgin Media) Running as a wire guard server.
I have a RUTX12 LTE (CGNat) I wish to use as a peer/client so I can connect to it from my home router.
I have updated to the latest firmware for both modems and device but now notice the instructions from the Teltonika wiki are slightly different.
I have managed to create the handshake and on the server (flint3 home) it shows 1 x client connected.
However if I try and toggle on use IPs it completely locks the RUT.
It drops the internet and won’t allow me to log onto the GUI I have to factory reset it and reconfigure it again.
I have other GLi-net routers that I use when I’m away and I configure them by dropping in there server files.
Is this compatibility issue between the makes or I’m not getting the settings right in one of them.
I am not experienced with IPs etc but willing to learn please.
Thanks
Hello,
The most probable cause is a wrong Allowed IPs list on the GLi-net router and/or the RUT. It must not contain its own local lan address.
Regards,
Thanks,
I just tried a factory reset and clean setup and as soon as I switch on route allowed Ips, the router crashes.
I wonder if I should revert to an earlier firmware?
What quite confusing is the WireGuard setup on Teltonika dosnt separate server and client as such.
I only want to set the RUTX as a client but the switch on is only rout allowed ips
What is the content of the Allowed IPs list on the RUT and what is its lan and wan addresses ?
Idem what is the address of the wg interface ?
It’s ok sorted thanks guys
I needed to add destination and gateway in a tab of the flint3 WireGuard settings “route Rules”.
But the Teltonika does have an issue on the Wiki it says toggle on allow route IPs but if you do it totally crashes the RUTX.
Thanks again

Hi, Brian,
Thanks for letting us know of the issue, we’ll try to reproduce it, and if successful, we’ll escalate this matter for our R&D to investigate.
Other than that, I’m glad that you were able to resolve this issue.
Kind regards,
M.
