Which model cell modem works in Canada?

Hi guys

When looking through the product catalog, I don’t see an indicator of which model works in which region. Which model of cell modem will work with Canadian providers (Telus or Bell) specifically?

To determine which device is best suited for a specific mobile network provider, we first need to compare the frequency bands supported by the provider with those supported by the device.

For TELUS, the primary frequency bands are:

5G (NR):

  • n71 (600 MHz)

  • n66 (2100 MHz)

  • n78 (3500 MHz)

4G LTE:

  • B2 (1900 MHz)

  • B4/B66 (1700/2100 MHz)

  • B5 (850 MHz)

  • B7 (2600 MHz)

Rural LTE & LTE-A:

  • B12, B13, and B17 (700 MHz)

For Bell, the primary frequency bands are:

5G (NR):

By comparing these frequency bands with a device’s specifications, we can determine whether it is compatible with the selected network provider.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like the RUTm50 is good for in-town applications, while the RUTm11 is sufficient for remote sites that won’t have 5g.

Is the m series of devices newer?
Are the x series of devices not being made anymore?
