Could you clarify the reason for upgrading the modem firmware? What was the primary goal of the upgrade, and did you have the option to update it through the WebUI?
Additionally, could you let us know what error occurred during the upgrade procedure? Finally, did you have the SSHFS package installed via WebUI (System → Package Manager)?
In some areas i’ve problem to connect to 4g. In the same place with more recent 955, same operator, same configuration the 2nd have no problem.
The webui don’t show any latest fw.
I’ve started the upgrade procedure via cli, with modem_updater -i “id” -v “version”. After a while the ssh stopped and the procedure fail.
So the modem is unreachable. I found the “Teltonika RUTX device: Modem Firmware Recovery.pdf” procedure and i wanna try to see if is possible to recovery the modem.

@Martynas Where can I find version 1.2 or 1.4.9 of quectel_flash (QFlash) please? I am trying to revive a dead modem in RUTX11 fhat is stuck in EDL mode. V2.0 of quectel_flash is bugged in some way and hangs during the flash.
We don’t have access to any specific versions of the Quectel Flasher tool. However, to assist with your modem recovery, please ensure that the modem firmware file is mounted on an external USB flash drive (mounted as /mnt/sda1).
If you continue to experience issues with the modem upgrade process, the most efficient way to assist would be by scheduling a remote session. If you’d like to proceed, please fill out the form we sent to you, for the ticket ID use “10156”. Once submitted, we’ll contact you privately with further instructions for the session.
