I installed the new firmware on my RUTX50 today … and wanted to use/install the new eSIM functionality (like on my iPhone) … (as announced in the changelog).
How can I use an eSIM (e.g. as offered by digitalrepublic.ch) on my router?

Teltonika, please specify in the changelog, if the eSIM support is concerned to “consumer” or “M2M”.

The changes for eSIM are only related to the backend services for now.
For now, the devices support only the M2M type eSIMs, meaning the profile changes need to be initiated from the ISP side, and a plastic 2FF eSIM needs to be used, as the device does not contain an eSIM inside.
In the future, eSIM capabilities will be expanded, however, as the work is still in progress on eSIMs we cannot provide any more information at this moment.
