WGET fails in Firmware: RUT9_R_00.07.06.3

I have just updated my RUT955 firmware to: RUT9_R_00.07.06.3.
In Auto Reboot I have setup a WGET reboot for host www.google.com with interval min: 15, timeout 10, interval tries: 3. WGET fails every time. I’ve tried PING instead which works just fine.

The router has been running with firmware: RUT9XX_R_00.06.09.5 for a long time without any problems with the WGET.

Is this an error in the new firmware? Should I use another host target than www.google.com?

Hello,

It’s hard to say what could be causing the issue, but if your device resolves google.com, then your configuration should work.
Was the device updated with the option to Keep Settings enabled? Since this is a very big jump between the versions, this could cause configuration issues, as a lot of the options have changed. If you don’t have a lot of parameters configured, I’d suggest performing a factory reset.
Otherwise, could you try specifying 8.8.8.8 instead of google.com?

Best regards,
