VPN Hub Route IP address change

Hi everyone, I’m hoping that someone might be able to answer my query or point me in the right direction please.

I have successfully been using the VPN to connect to hardware that has been set to DHCP, that’s fine. The Router has given the hardware an IP with the range 192.168.x.x.

However, I would like to connect to a hardware device that has a factory default IP 10.10.40.x
I’m struggling to find how to do this as the VPN is looking for 192.168.x.x

I’m sure as always this is simple, but could someone help please?

If your end device has a default IP of 10.10.40.x, then you should change the LAN IP of the router, not the VPN Hub. You can retain 192.168.x.x as your VPN Hub IP and change your Router LAN IP to 10.10.40.x.
