3 Routers:
RUT0 - RUTM50 Firmware version: RUTM_R_00.07.08.2
VLAN 21 - Port based lan1 Untagged
-Created an interface with name LAN21 - Interface, physical settings: vlan21 ip address 10.0.21.1/24
VLAN 22 - Port based lan2 Untagged
-Created an interface with name LAN22 - Interface, physical settings: vlan22 ip address 10.0.22.1/24
RUT1 - RUT956 Firmware version: RUT9M_R_00.07.08.2
VLAN 21 - Port based lan1 Untagged
- Created an interface with name LAN21 - Interface, physical settings: vlan21 ip address 10.0.21.5/24
RUT2 - RUT956 Firmware version: RUT9M_R_00.07.08.2
VLAN 22 - Port based lan1 Untagged
-Created an interface with name LAN22 - Interface, physical settings: vlan22 ip address 10.0.22.5/24
I can reach LAN21(RUT1) and LAN22(RUT2) from RUT0 without problems. I reboot the routers and still can reach them.
But if I make the following change:
RUT1 - RUT956 Firmware version: RUT9M_R_00.07.08.2
VLAN 1 - Port based lan1 Untagged
- Created an interface with name LAN21 - Interface, physical settings: vlan1 ip address 10.0.21.5/24
RUT2 - RUT956 Firmware version: RUT9M_R_00.07.08.2
VLAN 1 - Port based lan1 Untagged
-Created an interface with name LAN22 - Interface, physical settings: vlan1 ip address 10.0.22.5/24
I can reach LAN21(RUT1) and LAN22(RUT2) from RUT0 without problems. I reboot the routers and cannot reach LAN21(RUT1) or LAN22(RUT2) interfaces.
- If I wait some time and unplug and plug again the ethernet cable, sometimes the communication is restored on RUT1 but not on RUT2.
pinging directly from RUT0 with ping -I 10.0.21.1 10.0.21.5 and ping 10.0.22.1 10.0.22.5
