I have two routers, one RUTX10 and one RUTX50. Both have a Samsung USB stick connected used for sharing files. After upgrading firmware yesterday to RUTX_R_00.07.14 the network share on RUTX10 is not mounted after reboot. The command “block info” does not show any connected device. On my RUTX50 everything works fine as before the update. How to reach my files again?
Good afternoon,
Please firstly upgrade the device to the newest firmware, as the fixes on that firmware are related to the issues you are having. Try to flash that firmware to the device via bootloader method (Will factory reset device) instructions : RUTX10 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki
If your USB stick is formatted with NTFS and larger than 2TB, consider:
Reformatting the drive to a supported filesystem (e.g., ext4 or FAT32) and/or reducing partition size below 2TB if possible.
Testing the USB stick on another device to confirm it is functioning.
After reboot, try physically disconnecting and reconnecting the USB stick, then wait a few minutes to see if it appears in the router’s WebUI.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I have been using exFAT, do you recommend me to change to
ext4 or FAT32?
Regards, Peter
Hi there,
Yes, i would recommend formatting the USB stick in different format.

Hi, thank you. One last question, would you recommend MBR or GPT?
Regards, Peter
Good afternoon,
it is generally recommended to format the USB drive with an MBR (Master Boot Record) partition scheme rather than GPT (GUID Partition Table).
