Unable to send SMS from RUT955

Hi
I am unable to send SMS from RUT955 router. The sim is working as I can send SMS from other devices. The router also has data connectivity as I can remotely accessing it using same sim card.
I can send a text to request ‘status’ which is received by the unit but no response.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it a Verizon SIM by chance?

No sim is Telenor, we have used them many times before on similar RUTs but cant get this 1 to work for some reason

Is it not responding to only “status” or you cannot send SMS at all?

Can’t send any text at all. Have tried to get to send SMS as a response to wired input being activated and also on the messages page where you can send and SMS

Could you try to set network type to 3G or 2G and give it a try?

Hi Yes this works now thanks! Do you know reason behind this? Also is there a way to fix it, we need the router to be on 4G for remote connectivity?

Try to turn off VoLTE and set network type to auto
