Unable to connect to RUT955 web interface

Hi,

I am using a RUT955 with a starlink mini and trying to connect to the router’s web interface using a macbook pro. I am able to connect to the internet, but cannot connect to the RUT955 web interface at 192.168.1.1 to check/manage the configuration.

Ultimately I need to check if the RUT955 is acting as a DHCP server. From my ifconfig it seems that the laptop is getting IP addresses directly from the starlink, which in turn is causing problems when I’m on my work VPN. However without being able to connect to the web interface or via ssh I’m can’t confirm whether this is the case.

Example threads I’ve tried to follow (only allowed to share two links but have read through others as well)

Things I’ve tried:

  1. Connected to wifi network RUT955_XXXX with IPv4 set to use DCHP
  2. Connected to wifi network RUT955_XXXX with IPv4 configured manually to IP 192.168.1.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, router 192.168.1.1
  3. Connected directly to RUT955 using ethernet cable with USB LAN with IPv4 set to use DCHP
  4. Connected directly to RUT955 using ethernet cable with USB LAN with IPv4 set manually to IP 192.168.1.2, subnet mask 255.255.255.0, router 192.168.1.1
  5. Connecting via ssh using ssh root@192.168.1.1 - this just times out
  6. Factory reset - holding the reset button for 12-20s, then repeating all the above approachs
  7. Entering bootloader mode - powering router on while holding the reset button for >4s until all lights flash simulateously, then visiting http://192.168.1.1/index.html in chrome incognito

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Greetings,

Have you followed the instructions listed here: RUT955 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki ?
Are you unable to reach the bootloader menu?

Best Regards,
Justinas
