TSW212: manual adjustment of PHY mode

Hello,
we are using TSW212 managed switch for a specific industrial purpose, where we need to operate the switch in a manually selected PHY mode, namely 10BASE-T FD. Our devices (using integrated switches Microchip KZS8567R) are also configured to fixed PHY mode, no autodetection (as per image from the Microchip manual).

However, when I configure the TSW212 to “manual selection” of 10BASE-T and FD the two devices do not establish link. Both devices look like the cable is not plugged at all. Based on observations of the registers in Michrochip switch it looks like TSW212 is still trying to autonegotiate, just the remaining modes (except the one selected) were removed from advertising.
To have some reference I tried the same with an older HP managed switch. I was also observing some troubles when the socket was configured to autonegotiation, but when I manually selected proper speed and duplex it works perfectly.
Please, can anyone advise how to force TSW212 to use fixed PHY link mode instead of autonegotiation?
Thanks
Jan

Hello,

The “Force Link Settings” option without auto-negotiation mode is expected to be implemented in firmware version 1.7.

We appreciate your patience.

Hello,

thank you. Could you please at least roughly say what is expected release date for version 1.7?

Thank you

Unfortunately, I don’t have an exact date for when the firmware will be available, but I’ll let you know as soon as I have more information.
