TRB501 signal instability and passthrough / bridge anomaly

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not yet have an estimated release date for firmware version 7.24.1 .

Regarding the public IP in passthrough mode, our R&D team noticed that the following configuration is present in your UCI configuration:

option passthrough_mode 'no_dhcp'

Please enable DHCPv4 in passthrough mode and check whether the public IP address is then assigned to the Ethernet interface.

Best regards,

Hi @Marija

During a very very long phone call with your HQ the second week of May we have already tested in many configuration setup. Also with DHCPv4 in passthrough enabled. Now I test again after you post, with latest TRB501_R_00.07.23.7.

I only loose time (as usual); it still doesn’t work. In the rare case its take the public IP (P2P or auto), it doesn’t survive to next reboot and you always have to factory reset if you want to reach again the WEBui access on the local lan you left on a local internal address like 192.168.2.1.

After setting passthroung Ethernet remains OFF (electrically logic down) and IP become 169.254.x.x is on device connected.

Very very BAD !

Hello, @mik ,

After analysing your troubleshoot file, it seems that you have enabled Disable DHCPv4 .

Could you please try this configuration to see if it helps: turn off Disable DHCPv4 and enter MAC of device in LAN to which you want to get mobile public ip as shown in screenshot?

Please let me know how it goes,

All the best,
V.

Hi @Vilius

already tested: doesn’t work

(we make many hours of test with your collegue in May)

do you mean: AUTO + firewall port MAC ADDRESS

or: P2P + firewall port MAC ADDRESS
