My new TRB500 works fine, apart from FTP.
Upload files stuck at 100%, download files stuck at 99%.
Sometimes when I enter custom rules in the firewall: iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 21 -j ACCEPT iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp --sport 20 -j ACCEPT
everything works wonderfully. But ONLY until the next reboot.
Then I can enter whatever I want, FTP is dead.
After a few hours of trying and searching around, the iptables entries work again - until the next reboot.
Sorry, I can’t work like that.

Could you please explain what you are trying to achieve with the FTP, it will give me a better understanding of the issue.
Also a pointer - If you insert rules on the Services>Firewall>Custom Rules, it will lose it after a reboot. But you can put it in System>Maintenence>Custom Script, it will run it on startup so reboot will not affect it.
For this you can add a traffic rule to open all ports for Port 20 and Port 21, i can give you more info on that but i would suggest you to download a backup file first, just in case you have any important configuration there.
But still i cannot stand by on opening the ports as i would require information on how you are using the FTP so that i can try it here.
