Hi, today I upgraded my TRB500 to firmware “TRB500_R_00.07.08” and there is no “Data” limit type in Network > Mobile > Limits. It’s that ok? I read in the changelog that this tab should be available.
Hello,
I just checked, and I see this option available in the WebUI.
Could you please specify if you upgraded with the “Keep settings” option? If so, this is likely the cause of the issue. As a solution, I recommend performing a factory reset and checking if the issue persists.
Best Regards,
Yes, of course, I updated with the “Keep Settings” option, but why do you “recommend factory reset”. This isn’t how it’s supposed to work.
In newer firmware versions, some interfaces and their display configurations can differ from older versions. Consequently, upgrading with the “Keep settings” option can sometimes cause issues like yours, where the “Limits” section does not appear in the WebUI.
If performing a factory reset is not an option for you, we can try to edit the configurations via CLI, which may help to restore the “Limits” section in the WebUI. To proceed, I will need to review your troubleshoot file. I have sent you a form to fill out, and once completed, I will contact you privately regarding this. For the ticket ID, please use “6956”.
Best Regards,
I apologize for any inconvenience, but unfortunately, TRB devices do not support the data limit function. This is not an issue with the firmware.
Thank you for your understanding.

Product wiki says something different: TRB500 Mobile - Teltonika Networks Wiki
Hello,
Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for pointing this out. This is a mistake in the wiki, and the part about the data limit will be deleted.
Best Regards,
So why is there information in the changelog of the latest version indicating that such a function exists?
https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/TRB500_Firmware_Downloads
Mobile: added new Mobile->Limits page which shows information and allows to configure Data and SMS limits
Mobile: moved Mobile data limit section to a tab in WAN page
In the previous version of the software that came with the device, such a function as a data limit was available, so why was it removed?
It is not normal that TRB500 does not have a data limit function. The amount of transferred data is counted, you can check it in the statistics. So why is there no data limit function?
Hello,
There is a mistake in the changelog regarding Limits, and this information will be deleted from the wiki.
You can find the data limit configuration by navigating to Network → WAN and clicking “Edit” on the mob1s1a1 interface in the “Mobile Data Limit” section.
Best Regards,
Hello,
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Specifically, the TRB500 device differs from other TRB models, and currently, it is not possible to use the data limit function. In the previous firmware versions, this function was inadvertently added to the TRB500 WebUI, but unfortunately, it was not operational. We appreciate your feedback and concerns, and we hope to implement this function in the near future.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best Regards,
