I am writing you because I am struggling with the commissioning of my brand new TRB500.
I’ve decided to go for a TRB500 because I live near a mobile tower I do have a good 5G/4G signal. Before installing the TRB500 as intended I’ve done a few performance tests in a good environment to see if the device is working well. Unfortunately, I’ve always achieved less than 240 mbits in download speed - even though I’ve achieved the full download speed with other devices (600 mbits). The upload speed is good though.
Is there anything else I could do?
Is there a firmware or modem related issue?
Are my expectations too high - considering possible differences in the carrier aggregation technology used in the TRB500.
since you’re getting fair to poor/good values on some signal values that could mess with the speeds.
what devices are u referring to? if a phone for example, the mobile module inside of it has a completely different structure and they’re almost always gonna outperform routers and such
