TRB500: dropping out

Beginner on cell networking, having a hard time with a TRB500 loosing internet connectivity with strong cellular connectivity.

The gateway are reporting strong signal( 2 - 3 bars on LED indicator) over 5G, I’ve exclude LTE B7 and B3 from the 4G and set the passthrough mode.

I can’t see any issues in the real time monitoring for signal strength when the issue occurs.

I also checked the connectivity between the gateway and the firewall/router, and there is no issue between them.

The gateway is currently configured with the included antennas.

I’ve also tried to disable 5G just to verify, and still get the same problem.

I need some pointers to continue with the troubleshooting.

Device: TRB500
Kernel: 4.14.336
Firmware: TRB500_R_00.07.10
Build: 807dd7cb552
Build date: 2024-10-08 11:47:18

root@Gateway5:~# gsmctl -A ‘AT+QCAINFO’
+QCAINFO: “PCC”,9460,50,“LTE BAND 28”,1,384,-78,-10,-50,10

root@Gateway5:~# gsmctl -A ‘AT+QENG=“SERVINGCELL”’
+QENG: “servingcell”,“NOCONN”
+QENG: “LTE”,“FDD”,240,07,537A80B,384,9460,28,3,3,8507,-78,-11,-51,13,11,-120,-
+QENG:“NR5G-NSA”,240,07,117,-96,3,-14,642048,78,12,255

And just for reference, I don’t have any issues on the same location with the SIM in other gateways.

Thanks

Update…

I had to set at static MTU size(I picked 1500) on the WAN interface of the gateway, I guess it’s my carrier that has a hard time with the gateway and dynamic MTU size.

Everything have been stable for hours now.
