We bought this unit about 18months ago to be used for our home WiFi and it has overall been great. Have of late had a few issues where I’ve had to reboot it a few times as it’s dropped off. Seems it possibly is due old firmware according to some forums so I’d like to upgrade it. My problem is that I can not access it using my password ( or at least what I expect the password to be…). Is there away to get in/ to factory reset it and start again?

During the first log in to the device, the user is prompted to change the password due to security reasons. However, you can restore the default password of the device by factory resetting it. Once the factory reset is completed, you should be able to access your device with login: admin and default password which is provided on a sticker on the back of the device.
Here is an instruction on how to perform factory reset to your device:
Please note, that resetting the device to factory default settings will delete any configuration made prior the reset.
