Hello,
Here are a few things to check that might help resolve your issue:
Let me know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
Best regards,
Thank you for your quick response. There is no PIN and the SIM card appears to be in the correct place.
I think it’s an APN problem.
But I don’t have access to the APN configuration settings.
The URL http://192.168.2.1 does not work.
Best regards
Hello @GIRERD,
It seems there might be a slight misunderstanding. For the TRB246/256, the correct IP address to access the WebUI is 192.168.1.1, not 192.168.2.1. Please try accessing the WebUI using this IP address.
Additionally, the default IP address is typically displayed on the top label of your device.
Let me know if you encounter any further issues or need additional assistance.
Kind regards,
Hi, I made the settings as instructed and connected to the TRB256. But I still don’t have a mobile connection.
Best regards
Hello,
Thank you for the update. Could you please provide a screenshot from the Status → Network → Mobile page to help analyze the issue further?
Additionally, could you try changing the PDP type to IPv4 only in Network → WAN → mob1s1a1 interface settings and see if that makes any difference?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Best regards,

Hello,
Thank you for your update.
Could you please confirm if the correct APN is being used for your network? Have you tried selecting a custom APN in the Network → WAN → mob1s1a1 settings?
Additionally, the current RutOS firmware version on your TRB256 is outdated. I’d recommend upgrading to the latest available version, which can be downloaded from here. For installation, you’ll need to upload the firmware file through the System → Firmware page in the WebUI.
Best regards,
Hi,
the TRB256 still doesn’t work. I’m going to try the sim card with another router. If it doesn’t work, I’ll order another sim card.
Best regards
Hello,

Hello,
I have the same issue with my new TRB256. I have now tried two different SIM Cards from simHERO and things mobile, and I have also tried different antennas, but the device can not establish any network connection. I have customized the APN according to the providers specification, but it does not work.
Any updates from the above-mentioned ticket?
Regards,
Sebastian
