TRB255 losing mobile connection all the time

Hi,

we have a couple of TRB255 with sim card of 1nce. The devices are a different location in our building some using the telekom network some the telefonica network. If we have luck, the devices are online for some minutes, if not, they even do not connect. In each order they lose their internet connection after a short time.

We set manually the APN and also added 8.8.8.8 as DNS. Why does the device loses the connection.
BTW: we have mobile phones in both networks here, working fine.

You mentioned that you set the APN manually. Have you tried connecting without manual settings? Did the connection establish? Please give it a try and let me know the results.

Hi,

first we used the auto-setting. We changed it because of the issue, as we read in a forum that auto setting could be the reason for the issue. However, it is not working with auto-settings, and it is not working with manual settings. During the last days we made some test with disabling the NB option, and just select M1, that seems to be better, but we are not yet sure about this. Our provider and our sims offer NB as well.

Can anyone confirm issues with Narrowband and or 1nce?

It’s probably a SIM card problem. To confirm, please insert a SIM card from another carrier into the TRB255 and see if it establishes a network connection.
