After updating from 07.06.3 to 07.07.1 and 07.07.2 gps satelite count does not work anymore.
GPS satelite count now stays ‘0’

There haven’t been any firmware changes regarding version 07.07.02. The issue you’re experiencing might be due to a connection problem with the satellites. Please ensure that the GPS service is enabled and that the antenna is securely attached.

Problem was not there when firmware 07.06.3 was installed.
Directly after update update to 07.07.1 the problem occured; settings from 07.06.3 were reinstalled.
GPS is activated.

It seems like the GPS data is being received correctly, which wouldn’t be possible without visible satellites. This issue appears to be related to how the data is being displayed. Have you attempted reloading the GPS service (/etc/init.d/gpsd restart) or simply rebooting the device?

Device has a standard reboot every day at 08.00hrs.
This error occurs on several devices where 07.07.2 has been installed. It is very clear that there is a bug in the modbus module of the firmware.

I want to confirm: Is the issue only that the device is showing zero satellites? Does the GPS itself work for that device? Additionally, for investigation I would like to check troubleshoot file.
