TRB145 Interface // USB Connection not possible

Hello everyone,

We are currently using a TRB145 interface, which also works without any restrictions. However, we have the problem that the configuration via USB interface is possible throughout.

However, as soon as I insert a SIM card (Vodafone), the address seems to change and configuration via USB is no longer possible.

Is it possible to configure the USB/LAN interface so that the address is permanently 192.168.2.1?

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to configure the USB/LAN interface of the TRB145 so that the address remains permanently 192.168.2.1. Here are the steps you can follow:

Access the WebUI: Connect the TRB145 to your computer via USB and access the WebUI by typing http://192.168.2.1 in your browser.

Login: Use the default login credentials (usually admin for both username and password).

Navigate to Network Settings: Go to the “Network” section in the WebUI.

Configure LAN Settings:

Find the LAN settings and set the IP address to 192.168.2.1.

Ensure that the DHCP server is enabled and configured correctly.

Save and Apply: Save the changes and apply them.

Configure Mobile Settings:

Go to the “Mobile” section and configure the SIM card settings.

Ensure that the APN and other settings are correctly configured for your Vodafone SIM card.

Check for Conflicts: Make sure there are no IP address conflicts between the LAN and mobile interfaces.

By following these steps, you should be able to maintain the IP address 192.168.2.1 for the USB/LAN interface even when a SIM card is inserted.

Best Regard,
Glory
